Spirit Kids

What: New or gently used children's clothing, baby equipment. Up to girl Junior 12, Men's XL. Currently looking for winter gear (coats, hats, gloves, snow   pants).

When: Ongoing

Where: 629 E. South Boulder Rd., Louisville (in the Safeway Shopping Center)

Why: 1) Spirit Kids' will give VRA a monthly check for 50% of the proceeds from the sale of items donated in VRA's name.

         2) Items donated are tax deductible*

Who: Everyone!

*if you do NOT need/want a tax receipt, bring your clean and gently used winter items to Cindy Morgan at the school and I will drop them off at the Spirit Kids.

Upcycling

What: CapriSun drink pouches

When: Now until April 30, 2010

Where: Lunch room at VRA

Why: 1) Reduce/Reuse/ Recycle- new products are made from empty, discarded pouches.

         2) TeraCycle gives VRA $0.02 for every pouch!

         3) Prize drawings at the end of the program!
